Calls Renewed to Reveal Fate of Holeb (Aleppo) Metropolitans on 13th Anniversary of Their Abduction

Thirteen years after the abduction of the Metropolitans of Holeb (Aleppo), Mor Gregorios Yohanna Ibrahim and Mor Paulos Yazigi, the Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese of Beirut has renewed its call to reveal their fate, affirming the continuation of spiritual and humanitarian efforts tied to a case that remains unresolved.

In a statement issued on the occasion, the Archdiocese said that the two Metropolitans “will remain present in the collective memory,” stressing that the passage of time has not weakened hope in uncovering their fate. The statement added that prayers continue “for the truth to be revealed and for their safe return.”
