Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:
Develop a strategy for creative and relevant content for Hostage Aid Worldwide’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Create compelling text, visuals, infographics, and multimedia content that effectively communicates the organization’s mission, achievements, and ongoing work.

Social Media Management:
Coordinate with the HAW team to schedule and post content on various social media platforms, optimizing posting times and formats for maximum engagement.
Monitor social media channels in order to successfully develop a strategy for increased engagement especially on Instagram, facebook and LinkedIn.

Community Building:
Identify and develop a strategy to engage with key influencers, supporters, and potential partners in the nonprofit and humanitarian sectors.
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to grow the organization’s online community and followers and to increase its impact.

Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics).
Prepare monthly reports on key performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Online Campaign Support:
Assist in the planning and execution of branding strategies, social media marketing campaigns, including fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns, and special events.
Collaborate with team members to ensure that campaigns are aligned with the overall communication strategy.

Content Calendar Management:
Help maintain an organized content calendar that includes a schedule of posts, key dates, and campaign deadlines.
Ensure consistent and on-brand messaging across all platforms.
