May 14, 2024 – Hostage Aid Worldwide, a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for hostages and unlawfully detained persons, and supporting their families, is pleased to announce the opening of its new office located at 1906 Sunderland Place NW, Washington, D.C. This move marks a significant milestone in the organization’s mission to expand its reach and enhance its services.

The new office in the heart of the nation’s capital positions Hostage Aid Worldwide closer to key international policy makers and a network of global advocates, facilitating more effective advocacy and intervention for hostages and unlawfully detained persons around the world.

Hostage Aid has also released a new mobile app for Apple and Android devices! Included in the app are the powerful Hostage Metrics Engine, providing data and trends on hostage cases from 1979 until today, and the Hostage Risk Predictor, a tool that predicts the likelihood of individuals being taken hostage or unlawfully detained based on a range of factors.
