Austin Tice, a U.S. citizen, went missing in Syria in 2012. In August of that year, Austin was traveling to Lebanon and boarded a vehicle in Daraya, but shortly thereafter, he disappeared. A 43-second video later emerged with the title “Austin Tice is Alive.”
We now reach out to you in the hope that, as you work to secure the release of detainees, you will take into account the possibility that Austin Tice could be among those detained. This may be the opportunity we’ve long waited for to bring him home.

أوستن تايس هو مواطن أمريكي اختفى سنة ٢٠١٢ في سوريا .
في آب ٢٠١٢، كان أوستن في طريقه إلى لبنان و ركب سيارة في داريا، إلا أنه اختفى بعد ذلك بوقت قصير.
بعد فترة، ظهر فيديو مدته 43 ثانية بعنوان “أوستن تايس على قيد الحياة”.
