Imprisoned since November 16, the Franco-Algerian writer has had a 10-year prison sentence requested against him by the Dar El Beida Criminal Court.

Among the signatories are former Minister of Education Jean-Michel Blanquer, former Constitutional Council member Noëlle Lenoir, and writers Alexandre Jardin and Georges-Marc Benamou.
