France – Liberation, December 25, 2024
Relatives of the two French nationals, detained in the dreadful Evin prison since May 7, 2022, continue to campaign for their release.
Third Christmas without them. Three long years without them. On December 20, the Liberté pour Cécile support committee mailed 750 letters to Cécile Kohler, an associate professor of French. The only address on the envelopes was that of the sinister Evin prison in Tehran, where the 39-year-old has been held since May 7, 2022. Her companion Jacques Paris, a former mathematics teacher, has also been held there, in a separate wing, since their arrest during a trip to Iran.
