In November 2024, the Swedish Prosecution Authority decided not to initiate a preliminary investigation into crimes against humanity in the case of Dawit Isaak. In a ruling issued on February 28, the Administrative Court of Appeal stated that all materials used by the
Prosecution Authority to make its decision are classified. Björn Tunbäck, a board member of Reporters Without Borders (RSF), has now submitted a request for a review of the ruling to the Supreme Administrative Court. The case concerns the right to access public documents.
